Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive software testing across the development lifecycle in Memphis. The role partners with Product, Development, Deployment, and Support teams to validate releases and improve overall quality.

The candidate will design strategies, execute diverse testing types, and push for continuous process improvements while ensuring on-site, business-specific quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Software Quality Engineering / Quality Assurance.
• Experience creating comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Hands-on experience with functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting defects through log analysis and payload validation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to evaluate and communicate release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and plans.
• Participate in requirements reviews, test planning, effort estimation, release validation, and production support activities.
• Design and execute functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Utilize risk-based testing approaches to maximize coverage and identify critical defects.
• Document test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Investigate defects using logs, payloads, and other diagnostic tools.
• Assess and communicate quality risks and release readiness recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Deployment, and Support teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality engineering processes, test coverage, and automation initiatives.
• Independently prioritize workload and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.
