Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance professional to ensure product quality across software and embedded systems. You will develop and execute test strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive defect resolution to meet performance and quality standards.

The role emphasizes cross-functional quality support, risk assessment, documentation, and adherence to SDLC best practices in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Testing, or Quality Engineering
• Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC
• Experience with defect tracking and quality management tools such as Jira
• Experience performing functional, regression, and user acceptance testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites for software and embedded systems
• Perform functional, regression, user acceptance, and production environment testing
• Validate software functionality across multiple systems and platforms
• Support verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira
• Collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve software issues
• Drive issue resolution through structured analysis and follow-up validation
