Job summary

Kane Partners LLC is seeking a hands-on Software QA Engineer to ensure quality, stability, and performance of software in demanding communications environments. You will test across mobile, web, backend, and external integrations, and contribute to automation and QA process improvements.

The role requires experience in functional, integration, and regression testing, familiarity with Jira, Linux environments, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Exposure to Linux environments and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing across mobile, web, backend, and external integrations.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze application behavior, troubleshoot defects, and investigate logs for root causes.
• Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and validation docs.
• Assist with automation initiatives and QA process improvements.
• Monitor defects, test results and quality metrics for reliable releases.
• Partner with developers and product teams to identify issues and drive solutions.
