Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is a leading provider of intelligent material handling systems, with hundreds of engineers in-house. The Software Project Manager II provides support to the Project Management team and leads software projects for WCS/WES, following the Software Development Lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include managing scope, schedules, and budgets, coordinating BRD/UML work, and acting as main client contact to drive successful implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• 4-7 years of related experience.
• Experience in material handling, WMS/WCS/WES.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to manage customer relationships and project delivery.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide software project management for material handling automation projects.
• Read and analyze Scope of Work RFQ to develop high-level software schedules.
• Serve as main contact for external customers to plan tasks and approvals.
• Coordinate BRD and UML diagrams with the software team.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, and project communications.
• Ensure delivery within budgets and aggressive timelines per standards.
