Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation, part of ILUS, seeks a Software Project Manager III to guide software projects for Warehouse Controls and Warehouse Execution systems. You will manage schedules, budgets, and risk while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires effectively translating requirements into BRD/UML, leading testing lifecycles, and ensuring successful project delivery within aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Requires 4-7 years of related experience
• Experience in the material handling industry, warehouse distribution, and warehouse automation
• Knowledge of WMS/WCS/WES and order fulfillment concepts
• Experience leading software projects through SDLC (Agile or Waterfall)

Responsibilities

• Understand project scopes and requirements
• Read and analyze Scope of Work/RFQ/Proposal and Cost estimates
• Provide software project management for material handling automation projects
• Plan and complete software projects through the SDLC
• Coordinate with clients on tasks, information, and approvals
• Develop BRD and UML diagrams to accompany BRD
• Coordinate testing lifecycles (QA, UAT, FAT, Go Live)
• Manage project schedule, budget, and risk
• Deliver solutions within budgets and timelines
