Job summary

Dexter Talent is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own client-facing project delivery across a varied portfolio, from initial scoping to successful delivery.

You will manage small work packages through large-scale implementations, coordinate with engineering, operations and pre-sales, identify risks, produce status and financial reports, and promote continuous improvement within a hybrid, fast-paced delivery team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a commercial IT software project management role.
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects through a full software development lifecycle.
• Experience owning and managing project budgets.
• Comfortable working across both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Project management certification at Foundation level or above (PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Background in a regulated or specialist industry.
• Experience working within a structured portfolio or programme environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering projects to agreed time, cost, quality and scope targets across a varied portfolio
• Managing client stakeholders and building trusted relationships at project level
• Producing and maintaining key project documentation including status reports and financial tracking
• Identifying, managing and escalating risks, issues and dependencies
• Collaborating with internal teams including engineering, operations and pre-sales to ensure successful delivery
• Promoting lessons learned and continuous improvement across the delivery team
