Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to assist with software installation, testing, debugging, and turnover to customers. You will collaborate with Software Developers to refine the product and resolve issues, while gaining deep knowledge of the TAL platform.

The role includes involvement in system QA, on-site and remote customer support, and extensive travel as required, contributing to hands-on learning and real-world deployment experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Must have taken a class or internship with programming languages/MS SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with PCs, networks and software applications.
• Ability to clearly communicate with project teams and customers verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral participant in the software installation, testing, debugging, and turnover of the system to the customer.
• Work with Software Developers to improve the product and solve issues; grasp TAL’s platform and architecture.
• Share in the QA process to understand inter-workings of each software module for on-site troubleshooting.
• Provide remote and on-site customer support as required.
