Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Software Project Engineer to oversee all phases of software development and automation projects, coordinating teams, materials, and equipment. Projects are installed throughout the U.S.

and internationally, with a focus on ensuring specifications are followed and work proceeds on schedule and within budget. The Project Engineer will serve as the primary customer contact, delivering proactive problem solving and training, and partnering with operations to

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Experience with material handling systems and/or warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate with project teams and customers in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral participant in software installation, testing, debugging, and turnover of the system to the customer.
• Submit weekly Project Reports to keep the customer updated and coordinate meetings.
• Provide input to ensure TAL creates the best design for the customer.
• Collaborate with Software Developers to improve products and resolve issues.
• Provide customer and internal training on TAL software products on-site or at TAL’s office.
