KLA seeks a Senior Software Team Lead in Milpitas, CA to build and guide a high-performance software team for wafer inspection products. You will drive architectural evolution, mentor engineers, and deliver robust, scalable software for high‑volume production.

You will collaborate across divisions, champion modern technologies, and ensure timely, quality releases while growing the capabilities of the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven and a strong team player.
• Strong understanding of HPC and ML basics.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of software engineers to advance wafer inspection products.
• Drive next‑generation software architecture while supporting existing features.
• Acquire deep knowledge of LS‑SWIFT product software.
• Meet product timelines with high quality software.
• Tackle complex problems requiring multi-factor evaluation.
• Ensure designs, code, and tests are robust, scalable and future‑proof.
