We are seeking a Managing Director to join our New York team and lead the software M&A practice. The role emphasizes senior-client relationships, deal origination, and execution across software and technology sectors in the middle-market.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in originating and closing transactions, strong industry relationships, and the leadership skills to guide a high-performing deal team to successful outcomes for CEOs, founders, boards, and investors.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of investment banking experience with senior banker level.
• Extensive experience advising software/technology companies on M&A and capital markets.
• Proven ability to originate and close middle-market transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior relationships with software executives, founders, PE sponsors, and strategic buyers.
• Lead origination and execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions.
• Lead, mentor and manage junior bankers and the deal team.
