Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software asset management or IT asset management.
• Experience managing enterprise software licenses through the license lifecycle.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience administering software licensing/vendor portals and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization’s software license portfolio, including inventory, assignments, renewals, costs, and entitlements.
• Maintain records of software products, license quantities/types, users, renewal dates, and costs.
• Administer vendor licensing portals and manage license assignments, removals, and transfers.
• Provide first-line support for software licensing and coordinate with vendors and technical teams for complex issues.
• Monitor usage to identify underutilized licenses and recommend actions.
• Analyze licensing and utilization data to identify cost-savings and optimization opportunities.
• Evaluate new software requests against enterprise capabilities and leverage existing products where possible.
• Maintain knowledge of licensing models and use cases across the portfolio.
• Partner with stakeholders to rationalize overlapping capabilities and support consolidation.
