Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Pittsburgh to mentor developers, review code, and help shape technical direction across complex applications.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software development experience, strong hands-on skills in C#/.NET, React, Next.js, and microservices, and is comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring security and scalability.

This team is also heavily leveraging AI-assisted development tools, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable using AI to accelerate development while still being technically sharp enough to review generated code, identify issues, and ensure what is being delivered is scalable, secure, and maintainable.

We’re targeting candidates with 8+ years of software development experience who have experience mentoring engineers, reviewing code, solving complex technical problems, and helping influence architectural decisions.
