Job summary

Foundation Software in Northeast Ohio is hiring a permanent, full-time Software/IT Project Manager to lead user-centered projects from conception to completion on a collaborative team.

You will define schedules, craft project plans, manage cross-functional teams, and communicate with executives to keep stakeholders informed.

This role emphasizes delivering on-time, on-budget results while fostering PMO best practices and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of exceptional software/IT project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of project lifecycles (SDLC & PM) and application/infrastructure delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Plan, execute and manage projects to on-time, on-budget completion.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage resource allocation.
• Identify, manage risks and issues, and facilitate resolution.
• Conduct meetings and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

Project Management and Quality:

• Monitor project progress and track variances against goals.
• Manage deliverable quality and ensure user acceptance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Lead project closeout with required deliverables.

Professional Development:

• Continuously develop leadership skills.
• Embrace organizational changes and champion PMO best practices.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Foster a culture of accountability within the project team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of exceptional software/IT project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven understanding of project lifecycles (SDLC & PM) and application and/or infrastructure delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Agile/Waterfall experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
