A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Software Integration & Test Engineer II at Innoflight, you will lead system integration and automated testing for software components across multiple programs. You will design, develop, and execute test plans to verify requirements, collaborate with experts on testing strategies, debug issues, and present findings to stakeholders.

• Develop comprehensive test plans and Design & Acceptance Test Procedures for software verification during development and production.
• Write and optimize Python test scripts to automate testing, interfacing with test equipment and software under test.
• Investigate test failures, debug issues, and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes, presenting findings at Test Review Boards.
• Lead the development and enhancement of automated testing architecture, adding new features and expanding capabilities.
• Work closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and accurate test procedures.
• Provide precise labor and schedule estimates for new test features and procedures to aid project planning.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software integration, test automation, or a related role within embedded or complex systems environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including design, scripting, and optimization of automated test systems.
• Proven record of developing comprehensive test plans, writing Design and Acceptance Test Procedures, and validating complex software requirements.
• Experience debugging software failures, performing root‑cause analysis, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with hardware/software integration and test equipment interfacing.
• Cross‑functional collaboration experience with software, hardware, and manufacturing teams.
• Ability to produce accurate labor and schedule estimates for test development.
• Experience with automated test frameworks and integration testing methodologies.
• Experience with C/C++, JavaScript, SQL, and Linux‑based systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional compensation includes a profit‑sharing bonus and a cash performance bonus.
