Halogen Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Engineer for HPC environments in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The role focuses on testing, evaluating, integrating, and troubleshooting the HPC software stack within a Linux environment, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure cohesive deployment and security alignment. You will develop, test, and sustain automation tools for provisioning HPC infrastructure, while coordinating with development, operations, and test teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous OS environments.
• Strong Linux command line proficiency and scripting ability.
• Experience with HPC systems integration, testing, and administration.
• Familiarity with IaC concepts and automation tools incl. Salt and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Test, evaluate, integrate, and troubleshoot HPC software stacks and related system issues.
• Develop, test, and sustain automation tools for provisioning and configuring HPC infrastructure on Linux.
• Coordinate with development, operations, and test teams to ensure cohesive integration.
• Document software stack configurations and sustainment activities.
• Determine optimal HPC configurations to meet customer needs.
