An Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for the SWE-2 position. The SWE-2 role requires advanced degrees and several years of experience in similar programs, with skills in Linux, Python, Rust, and CI/CD, plus experience with Ansible, GitLab CI, Agile/SAFe, and container tech.

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

SWE-2 Qualifications:

Master's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. OR Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Required Skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes
• Recent software development experience using Python
• Recent software development experience using Rust
• Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
• Experience developing authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems in a Linux environment
• Basic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
