Job Description
Software Implementation Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Software implementation of IT systems in different laboratories worldwide in collaboration with the IT Manager responsible for Computerized Quality Systems for quality processes.
  • Manage overall project tasks, deployment, or system optimization from inception to completion.
  • Organize and coordinate requirements elicitation with business teams.
  • Provide new requirements to business analysts for assessment of new and existing features.
  • Follow-up on design and functional specifications.
  • Lead validation processes, including test plan and script generation, and coordinate work with Technical System Engineers.
  • Prepare training materials and train local resources on system features and processes.
  • Author release notes related to implemented changes.
  • Maintain and periodically review all documents related to eQMS (requirements, specifications, traceability matrix, SOPs, reports, etc.).
Additional Assignments
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of IT Quality Assurance systems and processes.
  • Follow group policies and standards.
  • Regularly update the manager on project progress.
  • Develop best practices, guidelines, and templates for project management, system maintenance, and validation.
  • Enhance system design to comply with good practices and regulations.
  • Capitalize on the knowledge base and help improve the processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences; a science-based degree such as Chemistry or Biology is a plus.
  • Project Management Certification is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory quality-related environment.
  • Experience as a Trainer or Educator.
  • Willingness to travel 25%-50%.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates within commuting distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
