Job description

Software Implementation Project Manager - Hybrid

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a range of analytical testing services across multiple industries to ensure safety and sustainability. Our laboratories work with major global companies to verify product safety, authenticity, and accurate labelling.

The Eurofins network is a leader in food, environment, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic testing, as well as genomics, pharmacology, forensics, and clinical research services. With over 30 years of growth, Eurofins now operates 900 laboratories in more than 54 countries, employing 58,000 staff and offering over 200,000 analytical methods.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing IT systems in laboratories worldwide in collaboration with the IT Manager responsible for Computerized Quality Systems.
  • Managing project tasks from inception to completion, including deployment and system optimization.
  • Coordinating requirements elicitation with business teams and providing requirements to business analysts.
  • Following up on design and functional specifications.
  • Leading validation processes, including test plan and script generation, and coordinating with Technical System Engineers.
  • Preparing training materials and training local resources on system features and processes.
  • Authoring release notes and maintaining documentation related to eQMS (requirements, specifications, SOPs, reports, etc.).

Additional duties:

  • Participating in continuous improvement of IT Quality Assurance systems.
  • Adhering to group policies and standards.
  • Regularly updating the manager on project progress.
  • Developing best practices and authoring guidelines, procedures, and templates.
  • Enhancing system design to meet regulations and good practices.
  • Building the knowledge base and refining processes.

Minimum educational qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields. Science-based degrees are a plus.
  • Project Management Certification is a plus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory quality environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in software implementation and training.
  • Experience as a trainer or educator.
  • Willingness to travel 25%-50%.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship.

The ideal candidate:

  • Is autonomous, proactive, analytical, rigorous, and business-focused.
  • Possesses good communication and writing skills.
  • Has risk sensitivity and project coordination skills from start to finish.

This is a full-time, hybrid position (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm), with overtime as needed. Candidates living near Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
