Job Description

Software Implementation Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing IT systems in laboratories worldwide in collaboration with the IT Manager responsible for Computerized Quality Systems.
• Managing project tasks, deployment, or system optimization from inception to completion.
• Organizing and coordinating requirements elicitation with business teams.
• Providing new requirements to business analysts for assessment of new and existing features.
• Following up on design and functional specifications.
• Leading validation processes, including test plan and script generation, and coordinating work with Technical System Engineers.
• Preparing training materials and training local resources on system features and processes.
• Authoring release notes related to implemented changes.
• Maintaining and periodically reviewing all documents related to eQMS (requirements, specifications, traceability matrix, SOPs, reports, etc.).

Additional Assignments

• Participating in the continuous improvement of IT Quality Assurance systems and processes.
• Following group policies and standards.
• Regularly updating the manager on project status.
• Developing good practices and authoring guidelines, procedures, and templates for project management, system maintenance, and validation.
• Improving system design to meet good practices and regulations.
• Capitalizing on the knowledge base to enhance processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Science-based degrees are a plus.
• Project Management Certification is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working in a laboratory quality environment.
• Experience as a Trainer or Educator.
• Willingness to travel 25%-50%.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
