Job summary

ALO is seeking Software Engineers in San Ramon, CA to develop, create, and modify the software functions of our e-commerce platform.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering and 10 years of progressive experience, including expertise in AWS API Gateway, AWS Cloud Services, Java, REST APIs, Spring Boot, and MySQL, with knowledge of retail processes such as POS and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or closely related field with 10 years progressively responsible experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in each of: Building Restful Services using AWS API Gateway, AWS Cloud Services, Developing reusable integration platform components using Java, REST APIs, databases, and integration patterns.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and MySQL; knowledge of retail business processes and systems including POS, inventory management, and supply chain management.
• Experienced in managing a team of engineers.

• May perform additional duties that are similar and consistent with stated position requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver software solutions.

Software Engineers (San Ramon, CA)

Develop, create, and modify the software functions of our e-commerce platform. May perform additional duties that are similar and consistent with stated position requirements.

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (or a foreign degree that is equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree) in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or closely related field plus thereafter 10 years of progressively responsible experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

Building Restful Services using AWS API Gateway

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Services

Developing reusable integration platform components using Java, web-services, REST APIs, databases, and integration patterns

Spring, Spring Boot, and MySQL

Retail business processes and systems, including point of sale, inventory management, and supply chain management

Managing a team of engineers

Telecommuting permitted no more than 1 day per week.

Salary Range: $246,750.50 to $250,000.00
