Boost My School is seeking a Senior or Lead Software Engineer to join a remote-first team supporting schools and students across the United States. You will own critical features across the stack, contribute to production deployments, and help steer technology choices in a fast-moving environment.

You should bring 6+ years of software engineering experience, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Ability to own technical outcomes and drive results
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Wamiliar with rapid deployment and production readiness
• Excellent communication and feedback skills
• Bonus: experience with school fundraising or education tech

Responsibilities

• Deploy to production multiple times in first week
• Contribute across stack: infrastructure, frontend, backend, analytics, internal tools
• Help select future technologies (React/Relay frontend, Rails GraphQL API)
• Write maintainable code with CI/CD, linting and tests
• Support teammates and fill gaps in a small team
• Travel for company retreats about twice a year
