About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Technical Lead of Product Engineering to spearhead the technology architecture and development of our industry-leading Career Acceleration SaaS platform. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive the technical architecture of MARi, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security while fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence. You will lead a talented team of engineers in building impactful solutions that empower users to make informed career decisions. What You'll Do

  • Lead the charge: Define and champion the technical vision and architecture for our SaaS platform, aligning technology with business goals and user needs.
  • Build and optimize: Architect, develop, and iterate on robust, scalable, and secure software solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Be a coding guru: Write high-quality, production-ready code and mentor your team in adopting best practices for software development.
  • Empower your team: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of web and mobile developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively: Partner closely with product management, design, business development, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and delivery of impactful features.
  • Champion quality and security: Establish and enforce industry standards and best practices in software development, security, and data privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Drive innovation: Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance platform efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Be a thought leader: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in AI, machine learning, and data analytics, to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership: Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Lead or Senior Product Engineer with a successful track record of launching and scaling web and mobile applications in a SaaS environment.
  • Coding proficiency: Exceptional coding skills and a strong understanding of Google’s SaaS delivery architecture and tools.
  • Team leadership: Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Security focus: Solid understanding of privacy compliance requirements and experience in implementing security best practices.
  • Excellent communicator: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • US Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance (1). East Coast Time Zone.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FedRAMP familiarity: Experience with US Federal Government FedRAMP compliance requirements.
  • EdTech experience: Background in Education Technology (EdTech) platforms or related industries.
  • AI/ML knowledge: Familiarity with machine learning, data analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Startup mentality: Previous experience in startups or fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to drive innovation and rapid growth.

Competitive and Transparent Compensation

We believe in paying our employees fairly and competitively. Our salary bands are based on rigorous market analysis and are reviewed twice a year to ensure they remain aligned with industry standards. For this role, the annual base salary range is $165,000 - $185,000. Total compensation includes salary, bonus, equity and benefits. Your placement within the base salary range will be determined by factors such as your skills, experience, and contributions, ensuring equity across our team.
