Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time, 1st shift role with a 4/10 work schedule.

Responsibilities include engineering management and oversight of supplier software development, coordinating deliveries, and reporting periodic project status to Program Management. You will also maintain SPAR metrics and support issue resolution, plus update interface definitions in the SIMS system.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of JIRA experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong discipline in software development processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering management and oversight of supplier software development.
• Coordinate supplier software deliveries and report periodic project status to Program Management.
• Manage Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics and support issue resolution.
• Maintain entries in the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) and flight-series data modules.
• Update and publish Interface Requirements Specification and message format definitions in the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS).
