CHIPTON-ROSS Inc. is seeking 2 Manufacturing Planner 4's for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX. This role requires relevant work experience, CAD Software experience, and the ability to interpret engineering data. The position is 100% onsite.
The responsibilities include planning and leading various manufacturing processes, managing tooling, and preparing build analyses. Candidates must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. An accredited High School Diploma/GED is required.

Plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Supports mechanics to provide clarification related to planning and the applicable engineering drawings and specifications.
Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports. Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition. Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues. Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts. Supports enterprise level benchmarking to incorporate best practices. Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Develops scheduling templates for use by others. Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Develops and documents new job practices, techniques and standards. Works under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
The candidate must be able to go up and down stairs and work in confined spaces.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED.
MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT. Candidates who do not have the flexibility to work all shifts or variable shifts should not apply for this opportunity.
OT/Weekend Work: As required.
