You will shape the engineering roadmap, drive architecture decisions, and partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Security to deliver scalable, reliable platform services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience leading, hiring, retaining, and developing high-performing, geographically distributed software engineering teams.
• Designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications, distributed systems, APIs, and platform services.

Responsibilities

• Leads, hires, develops, and coaches software engineers through performance management, mentorship, and career development.
• Develops and executes the team's engineering roadmap, balancing business priorities, delivery, platform reliability, technical debt, and operational excellence.
• Guides architectural direction and technical decision-making for shared services and platform capabilities.
• Improves engineering quality, delivery effectiveness, and developer productivity by establishing standards and processes.
• Partners with Product, Infrastructure, Security, and other teams to deliver platform capabilities and shared services.
• Collaborates to define long-term platform strategy, roadmap direction, and priorities.
• Uses business context to guide decisions on APIs, integrations, shared services, cloud platforms, and modern architecture.
