Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Software Engineer Manager to oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of application systems for a large department. The role focuses on delivering a stable, reliable, and mature portfolio aligned with business requirements.

The candidate will lead a growing software engineering team and collaborate with Product, Security, Architecture, and Technology leaders to balance business objectives with security, reliability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience, with two (2) years in a supervisory/managerial capacity
• Experience in a Technology role in banking or financial services is preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of system design, development, deployment, acquisition, and ongoing maintenance for application systems
• Leads technology solutions that improve efficiency and support business opportunities
• Drives risk management, compliance, and cyber security through disciplined change management
