Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or compute/storage/hardware.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years in a people management or team leadership role.
• Experience with distributed systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a fast-expanding team of Software Engineers, coordinating with an international sister team in Bangalore, India.
• Define and drive mid-to-long-term technical goals and roadmaps; plan major feature extensions and new network products across data-center fabrics and Google Global WANs.
• Partner with Tech Leads to own and execute team OKRs, navigate resourcing and align priorities with organizational goals.
• Design, guide, and vet high-impact system architectures to support network evolutions and scale.
• Align strategies and streamline decision-making across teams to support organizational goals.
