Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Clearfield, UT is seeking a Manager Software Engineering 2 to lead a team in the IOSSP for ICMB Sustainment. The role combines staff leadership with hands-on software and test engineering, including Python automation, MBSE, and DoDAF/SysML workflows.

You will oversee staffing, recruitment, career development, and performance goals while driving technical excellence across software and hardware test efforts.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• Experience executing test plans and procedures for software and/or hardware.
• Automated test and data collection experience.
• Software development experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience with MBSE, DoDAF and SysML.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Python-based test automation.
• Develop test methods, procedures, and equipment.
• Apply systems engineering methods and best practices.
• Navigate requirements management tools (DOORS).
• Collaborate with engineers and lab users to meet test requirements.
• Produce engineering documentation and test reports.
• Plan and execute integration tests and regression testing.
• Lead and mentor subordinates and set career goals.
