Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks an experienced SDET to analyze enterprise-wide applications, design modern architectures, and implement automated testing in a distributed hybrid environment. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineers to ensure quality and governance across multiple applications, applying DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing aligned to TDD principles.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience.
• Experience with SDET using C# and .Net Frameworks and mainframe tech (Db2, Cobol, JCL, CICS, Datacom Changeman).
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and various databases and application security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze enterprise-wide business applications and define modernization roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software across distributed hybrid environments using DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Apply knowledge of Cash and Stock applications within Broker Dealer environments to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Establish automated testing frameworks aligned to TDD principles and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to align project plans, testing schedules, and end-to-end delivery across multiple applications.
• Support SDET practices and influence technology decisions across teams.
