Q2 is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Developer Support Engineering team in our Innovation Studio, empowering customers to build, integrate, and innovate on the Q2 platform using our SDK and developer technologies.

The role focuses on transforming developer support into an engineering-driven organization, scaling through automation, AI, and self-service, while building high-performing teams and a strong engineering culture that drives customer success.

Qualificações

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years in software development leadership.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing engineering teams and mentor engineers.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, cloud-based applications, and modern engineering practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and technical support professionals, strengthening technical capabilities and career growth.
• Drive engineering excellence through code quality, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Own operational performance including capacity planning, workload management, and backlog health.
• Use data and performance metrics to identify issues, prioritize investments, and deliver measurable improvements.
• Lead initiatives that reduce toil, improve developer self-service, and leverage AI and automation to scale support capabilities.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges and improve the developer experience.
• Foster a culture of technical ownership, collaboration, innovation, and customer-focused problem solving.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and operational standards.
