Q2, a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions, seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Developer Support Engineering team in the Innovation Studio. You will empower customers and partners to build and integrate on the Q2 platform, shaping an engineering-driven, scalable developer experience.

In this role you’ll champion engineering improvements, invest in capabilities, and grow high-performing teams through mentorship and leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of related experience; 3+ years in software development in Agile environments.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, debugging, APIs, cloud-based apps, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with production-facing teams responsible for reliability and customer outcomes.
• Proven ability to automate, improve productivity, and deliver sustainable solutions.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and technical support professionals.
• Drive engineering excellence through code quality, automation, and best practices.
• Own operational performance including demand forecasting, capacity planning, and backlog health.
• Use data and metrics to identify issues and guide engineering investments.
• Lead initiatives to reduce toil and scale capabilities with AI and automation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and customer-focused problem solving.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and operational standards.
