Qualifications

• Experience with Python and C++.
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
• OR advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing software engineering team responsible for core product software.
• Define technical direction, development priorities, and execution plans in alignment with product and business strategy.
• Support planning and execution of release milestones, risk management, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and engineering excellence.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and retain engineering talent.
• Champion best practices in software development, architecture, cybersecurity, testability, and documentation.
• Contribute to product strategy through technical assessment, roadmap input, and tradeoff analysis.
