Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead ELERA delivery, quality, and team health across one or more product areas. You will hire, coach, and manage performance while staying technically engaged with design reviews and critical issues.

You will guide architecture decisions, align the backlog with customer needs, and own production support, ensuring SLAs are met in a fast-paced, AI-native tooling environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in software development, incl. 3–10 years in leadership or a manager role.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong software engineering background with track record shipping at scale.
• Proven leadership of engineers, hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience with Agile, SDLC, and CI/CD in a continuous deployment env.
• Ability to move between architecture and execution with senior engineers.
• Clear communication, able to present executive-ready tradeoffs.

• Stay close to code for design reviews and issue debugging when needed.
• Understand architecture, backlog, and product-market performance.
