Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in the Cincinnati area seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead teams building AI-native development tooling and an agentic platform layer. You will drive delivery end to end, manage teams from first-line to senior manager scope, and partner with Principal Engineers to set standards.

Required 5–10+ years in software development with leadership, a CS/engineering degree, and a track record of shipping production systems at scale.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in software development with 3-10 years in leadership or manager roles.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong track record shipping production systems at scale and leading through ambiguity.
• Ability to own end-to-end delivery and communicate with senior engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and execution ownership of milestone plans, sprint tracking, risk, and quality.
• Hiring, performance, compensation, career development, and difficult conversations.
• Maintain technical fluency and review designs with Principal Engineers.
• Understand architecture, backlog, customers, and product performance.
• Own customer escalations and meet SLAs.
