Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead teams building ELERA: AI-native development tooling and an agentic platform layer. The role ranges from first-line manager to senior manager based on experience and team size.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in software development, including 3–10 years in leadership or manager role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• Strong software engineering background with a track record of shipping production systems at scale.
• Experience leading software engineers, hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, and CI/CD in a continuous-deployment environment.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery, quality, and team health for one or more product areas inside ELERA.
• Lead hiring, performance, compensation, and career development within the team.
• Maintain technical fluency to contribute in design reviews and production debugging.
• Understand product architecture, backlog, and market performance.
• Own customer escalations and meet SLAs for scope-specific production support.
