Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a team of infrastructure support engineers, delivering quality solutions for government customers and complex programs. You will partner with engineers to advance a world-class Software and Digital Technologies organization and provide strong functional leadership across programs including InSITE.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and a proven track record in delivering sophisticated engineering solutions

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science or STEM with 5+ years in engineering development projects or MS with 3+ years in engineering development projects
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• US Citizenship
• Experience delivering sophisticated engineering solutions for Government customers
• Experience in people and/or technical leadership roles
• Experience in infrastructure support areas (DBA, database building, recovery, patching, system admin, Linux/Windows, hardening, backup/recovery, file systems)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of talented infrastructure support engineers and ensure quality engineering support to programs, IRADs, and new business pursuits in the Weapons Integration & Mission Solutions (WIMS) Business Unit
• Collaborate with engineering professionals to provide engineering solutions for customers
• Foster the establishment and maintenance of a world‑class Software and Digital Technologies organization
• Provide functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization
• Actively participate in engineering activities related to our Intelligence, Systems, Infrastructure, Tools & Enhancements (InSITE) Program as well as other relevant Northrop Grumman Defense Systems programs

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or other STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• US Citizenship
• Experience in managing the implementation and delivery of sophisticated engineering solutions in support of Government customers
• Previous experience in people and/or technical leadership roles
• Experience in one of the following infrastructure support areas: Experience working as a Database Administrator, Experience building databases, database recovery, disaster recovery, database backup and restoring, Experience upgrading and patching databases, Experience working as a System Administrator /Network Administrator, Experience administering/patching Linux and/or Windows systems, Experience in hardening practices, patch management, access‑control principles, and compliance requirements, Experience with backup and recovery services, managing file systems and disk space
