Job Overview

Embedded Software Engineer (Associate/Engineer) on the Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) Embedded Software Engineering Team within the Weapons Integration and Mission Solutions (WIMS) organization. Location: Warner Robins, GA. Full‑time, salaried, on‑site position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, modify, and maintain embedded operational flight programs using best software practices and standards.
  • Participate in the entire software development life cycle: requirements, modeling, design, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.
  • Provide leadership in solving complex technical problems.
  • Interact regularly with Program Management, external suppliers, and/or government customers; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Basic Qualifications – Associate Engineer
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline.
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Ada or other object‑oriented programming languages.
  • Proficiency in all phases of the formal software development lifecycle from requirements to testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter able to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret‑level security clearance.

  • Highly motivated self‑starter able to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret‑level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience developing/debugging software for real‑time embedded operating systems (VxWorks, Embedded Linux).
  • Experience developing/debugging Electronic Warfare/Radar software.
  • Hands‑on software/hardware integration and testing experience.
  • Experience with Agile software development processes.
  • Experience interfacing with customers and/or stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional engineering teams.
  • Experience with digital signal processing.
  • Experience analyzing system requirements to derive software design and test specifications.
  • Experience with Jira/Bitbucket/Git.
  • Experience with LabView.
Compensation & Benefits

Primary salary range: $65,800.00 – $98,800.00. Secondary salary range: $79,300.00 – $118,900.00. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long‑term incentives for senior positions. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business.

Security Clearance & Travel

Secret clearance required for start. Travel up to 10% of the time.
