Job summary

Providence Health & Services seeks a Software Engineering Leader to own end-to-end delivery of caregiver-focused solutions, ensuring quality and strategic value across PSJH. You will evaluate requirements, estimate costs, design and implement solutions, and set quality criteria for successful outcomes.

You will guide architecture, promote engineering excellence, lead teams through complex problems, and drive data-driven decisions to deliver resilient, scalable software that meets business goals

Qualifications

10+ years of related experience with software engineering best practices.
master's degree preferred but not required depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Own software solution strategy, architecture, design, and engineering deliverables.
Lead teams in designing technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Anticipate trends and advise on needed capabilities and technologies.
Define software and tooling, dependencies, and documentation for resilience.
Promote a culture of quality across engineering, product, and testing.
Guide testing strategies to meet quality KPIs and ensure performance.
