Medline Industries, LP is offering a Software Engineering Intern position in the Chicago area. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications for Medline's Warehouse Management Systems and E-Commerce platforms.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or junior pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Experience with Java and/or JavaScript through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features for business and e-commerce applications.

• Analyze, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Rising senior or junior pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• Experience with Java and/or JavaScript through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts.
• Exposure to modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Next.js.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Selenium, Jasmine, or Karma is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Unrestricted permanent U.S. work authorization.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position: $23.25 - $33.75 Hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant\'s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
