Job summary

Medline offers a 10-week Software Development Internship in the Chicagoland area, running from early June through mid-August. Interns own projects, collaborate with sponsors, analysts, developers, and management, and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing applications.

The program is open to rising seniors in undergraduate programs and includes social/networking events, leadership presentations, and professional development to build tangible skills that set interns apart.

Qualifications

• Junior standing with a 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Background in SAP Manufacturing/Supply Chain/EWM processes or Computer Science.
• Strong leadership abilities and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, data analysis and follow-up skills.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of new features/enhancements to existing IS applications.
• SAP S4HANA rollouts.
• Implement robotic process automation to reduce manual processes within the team.
• Help map out processes and identify opportunities for improvement to documentation and data flow in business systems.

Designed to support both personal and professional growth, the 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.

Job Description

A Software Development Intern at Medline will work on projects to enhance our Manufacturing applications to drive efficiency within our teams. They will partner with business sponsors, analysts, developers, and management to lead their project to success.

• Implementation of new features/enhancements to existing IS applications
• SAP S4HANA rollouts
• Implement robotic process automation to reduce manual processes within the team
• Help map out processes and identify opportunities for improvement to documentation and the flow of data through the business systems

Qualifications

• Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Background in SAP Manufacturing/Supply Chain/EWM processes or Computer Science
• Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Salary

The anticipated salary range for this position: $23.25 - $33.75 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
