Lockheed Martin Corporation in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will engage in assignments across software engineering disciplines, from problem-solving to building with purpose, under experienced mentors.

Ideal candidates are pursuing STEM degrees, proficient in Python/Java/C/C++, and eager to work in a collaborative, security-conscious environment with the possibility of obtaining a government clearance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in a STEM discipline.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C++, or C#.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools and practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms or services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Perform assignments in technical/engineering groups during Summer 2027 while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Contribute to software engineering projects and learn across disciplines in King of Prussia.

The King of Prussia location is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern. This individual will performs assignments in technical/engineering organizations (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during during Summer of 2027 while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in a STEM discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.)
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C++, or C#
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
