Job summary

The UEC internship invites you to design, build, and ship customer-facing features that enhance the user experience. You will work in an agile team, track tasks in Azure DevOps, and contribute to projects like product tours and coach marks.

You’ll gain exposure to modern tech including C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes while exploring AI ideas. Currently enrolled in a CS bachelor's program with a graduation window of Spring 2028 or Fall 2027, you should bring strong CS

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Computer Science with expected graduation 2027–2028.
• Strong grounding in CS fundamentals and algorithms.
• Familiarity with HTTP, REST, JSON concepts is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and iterate in an agile team.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Design, build, and ship customer-facing features that improve customer experience.
• Contribute to real projects and work in an agile team environment.
• Use Azure DevOps for tracking and delivering work, participating in sprint planning, stand ups, and retrospectives.
• Create impactful experiences such as product tours and coach marks.
• Contribute to framework upgrades and migrations with low-risk rollouts.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Graduating Spring 2028 or Fall 2027.
• Comfortable with backend development using C#/.NET.
• Strong grounding in core computer science fundamentals including data structures, object-oriented programming, and algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of web and API concepts such as HTTP, JSON, and REST.
• Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset; able to ask good questions, seek feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Interest or experience in emerging areas such as AI.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $25-$30 per hour.

Training & Development

• Support from a Mentorship + Buddy Program including a manager for goals, a mentor for craft, and a buddy for day-to-day support.
• Exposure to modern technologies including C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, NoSQL, Azure, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, React, microservices, event-driven architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
