Job summary

NWU in Elgin, IL is offering an internship for students pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. You will work on building and deploying full-stack applications across UI/UX, business logic, and backend databases, while gaining hands-on experience in system design and data modeling.

This internship includes exposure to architecture design, stakeholder collaboration, end-to-end testing, and production deployment.

Qualifications

• Expected graduation date no later than December 2028.

• Design system architecture and prototypes, including data modeling and database schema design.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements and project plans.
• Maintain and enhance existing tools supporting the Software Factory, CCSI systems, and licensing/distribution platforms.
• Perform end-to-end testing, deploy tools into production, and provide user training to business stakeholders.
