Chicago Trading Company (CTC) is seeking talented software engineers to join our engineering teams. You will design, code, and test cutting-edge trading tools and risk applications in a fast-paced, real-time environment.

Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading are essential, along with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills. Graduates or soon-to-be graduates (Dec 2026–Jun 2027) in CS/CE are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with Java, C++, or Python experience.
• Strong foundation in object oriented programming from coursework or internships.
• Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Willing to relocate to Chicago, IL or New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test sophisticated trading tools and risk applications for real-time systems.
• Work on distributed real-time software and gain exposure to trading desks.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally, to team members.
