Job summary

IsoCode Labs is seeking a versatile software engineer to build and ship full-stack features from design to production. You’ll own both frontend and backend work end-to-end, taking specs from the product team and founders and ensuring deployment readiness.

You will collaborate closely with product and founding team members and leverage AI tools in the development workflow to ship robust, maintainable code.

• Portfolio showing software you have personally built with working links.
• Ability to write clean, readable code for maintenance.
• Strong judgment when evaluating trade-offs between implementations.
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows and understanding deployed code.

About the role

• You will build and ship complete software features across the full stack, handling everything from initial design through deployment to production
• Your work spans both frontend and backend development, with responsibility for taking ownership of each feature you deliver
• You will work from clear specifications provided by the product team and founders
• Deployment and production readiness fall within your scope

What you'll work on

• End-to-end feature development, from conception to live release
• Frontend implementation using modern web technologies

What we're looking for

• A portfolio demonstrating software you have personally built and shipped, with working links to your projects
• The ability to write clean, readable code that others can understand and maintain
• Sound technical judgment in evaluating trade-offs between different implementation approaches
• Skill in using AI tools effectively as part of your development workflow, paired with a thorough understanding of every line of code you deploy
