Matrice AI is offering a machine learning internship for students or recent graduates. You will work on building, training, and refining AI models, and participate in end-to-end model lifecycle from data prep to deployment.

You will collaborate with engineers and researchers to productionize models in cloud environments, debug and optimize for better performance, and document insights for the team.

About the role:

• Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to build, train and refine AI models that solve real-world problems
• Participate in the full model lifecycle, from data preparation and preprocessing through training, evaluation and deployment
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to integrate models into production systems and cloud environments
• Debug, optimize and troubleshoot models to improve performance and accuracy
• Document your work and share findings with the team

What we're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Proficiency in Python for building and experimenting with machine learning solutions
• Working knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch and Keras for model development
• Solid grasp of deep learning architectures including CNNs, RNNs, Transformers and LLMs
• Hands-on experience or clear understanding of model training, data preprocessing, hyperparameter tuning and model evaluation techniques
• Exposure to deploying models to production or test environments
• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
• Comfort using Git and working with version control in a team setting
• Strong problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking when approaching technical challenges
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work effectively alongside colleagues
