Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and will be enrolled Fall 2027.
• Majoring in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical contribution for new component/tool design, requirements definition, mechanical analysis, and repair processes.
• Interact and work daily with the government customer to ensure project expectations are met and schedules are kept.
• Understand USAF processes, procedures, and requirements; develop mechanical integration approaches based on required instructions.
• Performs component research, system level analysis, detailed trade studies, and data analytics.
