Job summary

Cox Automotive USA invites ambitious students to join its Software Development Internship program. You’ll gain hands-on experience across automation, provisioning, and deployment while collaborating with engineers and mentors to deliver real solutions.

You’ll work with modern tools, participate in CI/CD practices, and explore AI-assisted testing and automation as part of a supportive, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Currently a college student pursuing a BA/BS in computer science or related field.
• Passion for technology, reverse engineering and writing code to create solutions.
• Collaborative attitude with clear communication in team settings.
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems, containers and databases.
• Experience with code/scripts in at least one high-level language.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning and related processes across environments.
• Document development, procedures, or test plans as needed.
• Help develop and follow best practices, security and engineering standards.
• Build tools and pipelines for CI/CD across environments.
• Automate code packaging, deployment, and configuration management processes across environments.
• Solicit feedback from delivery and operations teams to improve throughput and quality.
• Monitor system and service performance and escalate as needed.
• Leverage AI tools to assist productivity, testing and automation.
