Our Provider Engineering team is seeking a talented software engineer intern, passionate about creating life‑saving technology for doctors and patients, to join Practice Fusion for an 11‑week summer 2026 internship.

Responsibilities

Support services engineering with a variety of projects, including:

• Taking on the challenge of solving complex technical problems to deliver vital, reliable product features to our customers
• Work with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs
• Write correct, well‑factored code that is testable and maintainable, and that demonstrates best practices
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested, readable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with fellow developers, test engineers, designers, and product management
• Deliver in a highly‑agile, cross‑functional Scrum environment

Qualifications

• Currently a senior enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline
• 3.0+ GPA preferred
• Proficient at programming in object‑oriented languages, preferably C#
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑starter and possess strong sense of self‑motivation

Compensation

$20–$30 per hour
