Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team on a critical PRIME contract. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, and the role focuses on building scalable infrastructure, automation, and data processing tools for mission users.

You will develop infrastructure as code, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and work with Kubernetes/Rancher in AWS, contributing to secure, compliant software delivery for national security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 8 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Kubernetes and Rancher for production-grade infra.
• Python for development and automation.
• Linux systems experience.
• Git best practices and CI/CD knowledge.
• Cloud systems architecture design and principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform within a government-aligned AWS environment.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and automate testing across multiple environments.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Rancher to manage containerized workloads and orchestrate infrastructure components.
• Develop Python-based applications and tools to support data processing and enhance AI capabilities for developers.
• Collaborate with partner teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions meeting security/compliance requirements.
• Execute automated agentic triage workflows from issue discovery to final code analysis delivery.
